The lovely peninsula of Ansedonia has two pleasant beaches, Tagliata and Feniglia, the former with an iron dark sand and clean water and the latter in front of a beautiful pinewood forest.
From Porto Santo Stefano, not far from Ansedonia and Giannella, one can board a ferry to visit the islands of Giannutri and Giglio with their crystal clear waters.
Heading north, towards Scarlino, one can visit the renown and charming beach of Cala Violina, accessible only by foot.
